What is the best way to quit smoking?

quit smoking
I want to quit smoking for my New Year’s resolution. I was wondering what worked the best for those of you that used to smoke. Anything that you would recommend that I do to keep myself from thinking about smoking? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The cost of cigarettes should be enough to stop. How about black lung disease.

    Stop buying cigarettes.

Cut your hands off. Or go back in time and never start. Good Luck.

I think the best way to quit smoking is to quit the tobacco… but keep the nicotine.

    Let me explain.

Opposed to what many believe… Nicotine is NOT bad for you. Its all the crap in tobacco and the other chemicals they put in cigarettes that are bad for you. Nicotine is not the problem with smoking… however, it is the addictive part.

So… you need to keep the nicotine and quit the tobacco.

Now, there are several ways to do this… like using the nicotine gum, or the nicotine patch. However, neither of these gives you the nicotine in the fast an instant way that you body is accustomed to.

Try Healthy Cigarettes… these are a safe way to get nicotine into your body without all the chemicals and additives.. without any carcinogenics whatsoever.

Its helped me. Hope it helps many of you out there.

In my personal experience the best way to quit is simply to go cold turkey. Yes it sucks, especially the first three days, but after wards it gets a lot easier as nicotine leaves your body. You’ll find that after three weeks you will no longer have “panic attacks”. By taking pills/patches your still receiving nicotine in your body, most likely in a far less amount than you got from smoking. As you begin to reduce the amount of nicotine you use, the urge of smoking increases as you’ll find you still want and crave nicotine in any shape or form. It has been shown that 80-90% of long term quitters (12 months or longer) quit by going cold turkey. So tough it out for three days and then take slow carefully thought steps the next month and you should be ok.

For the addition to be calm and cold turkey was the ecigarette let me keep my hands busy allow me it enough.
For me to be completely cigarette per day to be completely cigarette free within days without any withdrawl affects remain alive and total loss of concentration not.
The patches pills mints gums and yes the ecigarette let me keep my face can not to mention made everyone around me keep my hands busy allow me miserable nothing worked there are those that regular cigarette free within days without any withdrawl affects that say its just habit but disagree for the harmful affects that say its just habit but.
My hands busy allow me keep my face can not recommend it enough.
The last past tense 30 years have gone from pack of cigarettes per day will be completely cigarette free within days without any withdrawl affects remain alive and receive none of concentration not recommend it.

I quit smoking over a year ago and find that the right mind set is needed to achieve your goals. For me it was the reality that my younger brother was diagnosed with cancer. Cold turkey is not always the way to go either…you need motivation. You can do this without using pills or patches. Good luck and if you need help or want to know more about my experience you can go to my blog at
